Lhtakoh Identity Dot Art. Using Dakelh Syllabics to represent characteristics and Metis Dot Painting. Lhtakoh means ‟Waters within each other”, due to the fact that for a considerable distance after the Nechako enters the Fraser one can see the distinct streams, which differ in colour due to the different amounts of silt they carry.” – Bill Poser. All students had Lhtakoh on their paper to represent the land we live on. Recognizing and acknowledging the connection we have with ourselves, each other, the community and the land.

While focussing on different biomes, I created an interactive space for each biome for the students.
